Patchouli's in Rosemary Beach

Pish Posh Patchouli’s – Rosemary Beach, FLA.

How adorable is this little store I stumbled across while on vacation last week??  The selection is to die for & there is seriously something for everyone.  I exercised some restraint and just walked away with a soap and a candle but I could have done some serious damage.

The store carries the St. Barth’s line I love, Phillip B., Voluspa, Rodin, Smith’s, K. Hall candles, Lollia, Fusion, Archipelago & so many more!

Plus, check out how darling the set-up is:

Check out the lip balm station – heaven!!

And the cute little fragrance bar!

Beach Bound

I’m headed to the beach for a week starting Monday for a “babymoon” of sorts before this little fellow makes his debut in December.  I’m super grateful to this bitch for taking me along!

& of course happy our hubbies are joining us later in the week.  I sure don’t look like that in a swimsuit anymore!

Until then…

Diptyque Voile Satin Oil

Diptyque Satin Oil for Body and Hair

I’m on a major Diptyque kick... just stocked up on candles to have for some house guests in a couple weeks and to have on hand after baby’s arrival when I’m stuck in the house for a couple months during the cold winter months.  I’m a sucker for body and hair oil so it’s no surprise this I was instantly obsessed with this one.  I used it on my dried hair and body last night before bed.  The scent is a mix of jasmine, ylang ylang, & saffron.  Avocado oil softens the skin and hair while urucum oil leaves a satin-like sheen.  The oil absorbs quickly and leaves absolutely no residue.  My skin and hair felt lovely.  I just read an article about “rich” smelling hair – this oil is about as “rich” as it gets.  Happy Friday~

Diptyque Lait Frais Lotion

Diptyque Lait Frais Fresh Body Lotion

Delightful in every way: scent, consistency, & hydration. 6.8 oz. for a very reasonable price of $58.  Just as decadent and luxurious as the Cle de Peau cream I blogged about last week and for well less than half the price.

Orange blossom, almond oil, and macadamia nut oil leaves your skin nourished, refreshed and smooth as silk plus the scent is absolutely heavenly.  The scent is mainly orange blossom/citrus with some green undertones to keep it light.  Pick up a bottle at the Diptyque counter at Nordstrom!

My new hand cream (thx Mum!)

Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Correcting Hand Cream with SPF 15

I’m loving this hand cream that soothes, smooths, corrects and protects all at the same time.  Seeing as how I apply hand cream probably 3 to 4 times a day I figured it was best to start using one that would actually work on my minimal dark spots/sun damage and protect me against future damage.  For $35 this hand cream is so worth the money and as I’ve always been a big fan of Clinique’s sun products, it wasn't hard to spend $35 on a good size tube.  Reviewers say they can notice a significant improvement in dark spots after as little as 2 weeks – I’ll let you know my thoughts on that after another week or two.  For now though, I’m loving this ultra moisturizing, fragrance free cream that provides immediate and lasting relief of my dry skin and way over-washed hands.  Happy Monday!
