february finds & such...

J Brand Photo Ready Jeans

I’ve been disappointed with J. Brand lately.  My current favs are Goldsign and Current/Elliott – I actually believe Goldsign denim is quite possibly the best denim on the planet.   I own 4 pairs as of now and they are all in heavy rotation.

BUT, being a jeans girl, I’m always on the hunt for a new pair.  I’ve long loved the look of gray skinnies but have found in most instances that gray is often a less flattering wash than white.  Oy.  That is until I slipped these puppies on.  They are extremely flattering, the perfect ankle length and miraculously hold their almost compression like fit & shape like no other!  They mold to the body and make you look, well, pretty picture perfect.  You’re back in my good graces, J. Brand!

Tory Burch Leopard smoking slippers

I scored these on major sale & know I’ll be wearing them constantly when our weather warms up a bit.  They have a quilted insole that makes them especially comfortable.

Shu Uemura Touch of Gloss

This gloss adds immediate brilliance & shine & has hold power that’s uber light yet capable of taming the most stubborn frizzies, flyaways, & baby hairs.  It has a hint of shimmer and isn’t the least bit sticky or goopy.  It literally melts.  LOVE.  Use on ends to add luster and piecey texture too!

See my fab new haircut below.  Weight has literally been lifted.  Thanks to my buddy, Sarah, at Hyde Salon.

Living Proof shampoo & conditioner

See the link, review the website and scientific research that back it up.  Enough said.  My new constant companion.

Nars the Multiple in Luxor

They don’t call it “multiple” for nothing.  This cool-tone pink highlighter adds shimmer and glow to the brow bones, cheek bones, bridge of nose… enhances inner eyes, cupid’s bow… adds a hint of sparkle to your lips, décolleté… the options are endless.
I like to apply it right after moisturizer – it blends easily when warmed.  Or, on top of my foundation in specific areas to contour.
