Cle de Peau Body Cream

Cle de Peau Restorative Body Cream

This cream is rich, revitalizing, soothing, smoothing… I could go on and on.  Expensive for a body cream?  Yes.  But, worth it every once in awhile during the dryer winter months to have on your vanity for after a shower or in your travel bag for after a day at the beach?  Absolutely.  This decadent cream melts into your skin and helps restore and energize your own skin’s natural support & reinforcement system.  The result is refreshed and renewed skin that looks and feels younger and healthier from head to toe.  The scent is extremely light – almost non-existent but there is a hint there and the formula, in my expert opinion, is just perfect.  Rich but not greasy.  Substantial but not too heavy.  I will be slathering this on every afternoon during my vacation when I come in from the beach in a couple weeks.

Baby Got Boots

I bought my unborn baby his first clothing item yesterday.  His arrival is scheduled for the week of Christmas and usually around Halloween I start LIVING in my Uggs & I thought it might be cute if he had matching Uggs when we’re hermits & I'm on maternity leave during Jan. and Feb.  I just happened to come across these yesterday and I couldn’t resist.

Stylenomics

Essie Stylenomics Fall Collection 2012 Polish

I think I’ve finally found a replacement or alternative to my winter staple - OPI’s “Lincoln Park.”  I’m really into this so-dark- it’s- almost- black- hunter- green color from Essie’s new Fall collection.  It’s super shiny and glossy and I love the blue/green undertones. Check out my Iphone pics below.  How about the contrast of polish against my tangerine Miu Miu sandals?!  How cute are they??

Cle de Peau Wrinkle Correcting Concentrate

Cle de Peau Wrinkle Correcting Concentrate

I have admitted it before, I use Botox in my forehead (a very little bit) to keep wrinkles at bay.  I’ll be 33 in November and I started on my 30th birthday.  Again, very small doses, only a couple times a year -- honesty is the best policy, right?  Being pregnant, I’m on a (self decided) Botox break. (sidebar: I know plenty of woman who used Botox through pregnancy and gave birth to perfectly healthy children; I just decided to suspend my use until after birth) Unfortunately, you’re also barred from prescription grade retinol when pregnant.  So, how was I to keep my fine lines & wrinkles under wraps for 9 ½ months?  This miracle worker from Cle de Peau is my answer.  Well, that and lactic acid peels every 6 weeks .

I love this concentrate.  I apply it before bed to my forehead and a couple areas around my eyes.  It has no chemical smell and it feels really moisturizing.  The formula actually prevents future wrinkles as it repairs existing ones.  It does contain retinol, though minimal amounts… it also contains ingredients that maximize cell turnover and regenerate & rejuvenate your cell’s vitality.

I can honestly say, there is not a single pronounced line on my forehead.  MAJOR!!!
