Bio-Oil
I’ve always been curious about Bio-Oil and know several people that swear it’s got ultra healing/restoring/renewing powers. Bio-Oil is clinically proven to improve stretch-marks, scars, and uneven skintone. It’s full of vitamins, botanicals and healing natural oils. Bio-Oil even claims to help “plasticize the skin” – reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines in the process. I’ve been using it on my arms, legs, and chest (my chest definitely has some sun damage) in the evenings after my shower and I really like it. It has a very light, fresh, & clean smell and it absorbs almost immediately. It’s not greasy at all and it gives skin a nice sheen. Supposedly it will heal skin pigmentation problems like melasma or other conditions caused by hormonal changes, birth control, pregnancy, etc. I actually have slight melasma on my upper lip from an IUD but I’m a little hesitant to put any “oil” based product on my face.
